Weapon license types are regulated in two separate laws numbered 6136 and numbered 2125. Within the scope of the aforementioned laws, the types and durations of gun licenses are as follows:
- Licenses within the scope of Law No. 6136;
- Keeping License, (valid for 5 years)
- Transport License, (valid for 5 years)
- Public Servant Transport License, (valid as long as the public service continues)
- Retired Public Official Transport License, (No time limit)
- Shotgun License, (valid for 5 years)
- Licenses within the scope of Law No. 2521;
- Shotgun License (valid for 5 years)
- Dealership (Hunting Dealership) Certificate (valid for 1-3 years)
