TYPES OF ALİMONY

Precautionary Alimony: It is the type of temporary alimony paid until the divorce case is finalized to the party whose custody is left to be used for the benefit of the spouse who will fall into poverty with the filing of the divorce case or the child under the age of 18.

Affiliate Alimony: It is the child support that is awarded for the contribution of the mother or father, who does not have the right to custody, to the expenses of the mother or father who have the right of custody as a result of the divorce case. This alimony starts from the finalization of the divorce case and continues until the date of the child’s adulthood. With alimony, it is aimed to contribute to the care and protection of the child by the spouse who does not have the right to custody of the minor child.

Poverty Alimony: Alimony paid by the other spouse for his livelihood to the person who will fall into poverty, provided that it is proven that his fault is not more severe at the end of the marriage union. There is no time specified in the law for alimony. Unless the circumstances that eliminate the poverty alimony are realized, this alimony is indefinite.

Support Alimony: If a person falls into poverty, it is the type of alimony paid to that person by his/her lower lineage or siblings who are in better financial condition than himself/herself.
