Spouses can only adopt together; those who are not married can adopt together ‘t acquire. Spouses must be married for at least five years or have reached the age of thirty.
One of the spouses has been married for at least two years, or he himself has reached the age of thirty he can adopt the other’s child provided he is found.(Turkish Civil Code Article 306)
