According to Article 499 of the Turkish Civil Code, the surviving spouse has the right to inheritance. The surviving spouse’s share of the inheritance is arranged as follows:
-The surviving spouse has the right to receive a quarter of the inheritance if the heir remains with the lower lineage of the testator,
-If the person who bequeathed the second degree becomes the heir of the group where your relatives are located, you will receive half of the inheritance,
-If the inheritor is the heir from the third stream, that is, from the group where his great-parents are, three-quarters of the inheritance remains with the surviving spouse.
-In the event that there is no one of these heirs, the entire inheritance is transferred to the spouse.
-If the heir does not have any legal or appointed heirs, his inheritance is transferred to the state in accordance with the rules of inheritance law.
